Julio Jones Ruled Out For Week 15
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons interim head coach Raheem Morris said that wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) is out for Week 15 against the Buccaneers. It will be Jones' second straight game on the sidelines with a hamstring injury that has been bothering him off and on for most of the season. With just two games left in the regular season, it's fair to wonder if the 31-year-old will play again this season. Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage will once again be the team's top two receivers on Sunday against Tampa. With Jones sidelined in Week 14 against the Chargers, Gage had five catches on seven targets for 82 yards, and he scored the previous week against the Saints. In the last five weeks, Tampa's D has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to receivers, so Gage will have some upside as a WR3/flex against the Bucs.
