Julio Jones Practices For Second Straight Day
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, but he remains on Injured Reserve. The Titans can activate Jones at any time from IR, but they are likely waiting to see if he can make it through a full week of practice without suffering any setbacks. The 32-year-old has dealt with lower-body injuries for most of the year and has played in just six games, catching 21 of 31 targets for 336 yards and no touchdowns. He has one 100-yard game (back in Week 2), but Jones has mostly been a low-upside WR4/flex, when healthy. Even if he's activated later this week and is active on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he could be eased back into an offensive role and won't be guaranteed to be the No. 1 receiver with A.J. Brown (hamstring) still on IR.
