Julio Jones Could Become More Involved Against Chiefs
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones will go on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night in Week 11. The veteran has made three appearances for the Eagles this season, catching two passes for 11 yards and one touchdown. Jones has not seen his snap share rise over 35% in any game, but that may change this week. Tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) is slated to miss multiple games, and when he missed time last season, the Eagles did not involve the backup tight ends at the same rate. The 34-year-old could be asked to play more snaps and get more involved to help supplement Goedert's target share. That does not mean fantasy managers should rush out and grab Jones off the waiver wire. The Chiefs allow the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and there is no guarantee Jones is set to see a high target share. However, it will be important to watch where some of the vacated targets go this week for a potential pick-up next week.
