Julio Jones Catches Three Passes In Titans Debut
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones caught three of six targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 38-13 Week 1 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The former Atlanta Falcon gained nine yards in his first career catch with the Titans but was held to 29 yards receiving Sunday. He missed multiple weeks of practice throughout training camp with a lower leg injury and didn't build much rapport with QB Ryan Tannehill. The Titans' offense struggled as Tannehill was under pressure all day and sacked six times. Despite the lackluster debut, Jones has a vital role in the Titans' offense and is considered a low-end WR2 in Week 2's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
