Julian Edelman's Four-Game Suspension Upheld
6 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman's four-game suspension was upheld by the NFL on Tuesday, meaning he'll miss the first four games of the season against the Texans, Jaguars, Lions and Dolphins. It's surely a blow to Edelman's 2018 fantasy value, but he should still be selected as a strong WR2 in PPR leagues. In his absence to begin the year, tight end Rob Gronkowski will see heavy usage, as will receiver Chris Hogan on the outside. Running back Rex Burkhead could see a boost in passing situations as well, while receivers Jordan Matthews, Malcolm Mitchell and Phillip Dorsett could see more usage.
