New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will likely see less work as a punt returner this season so the team can give the 34-year-old player more opportunities to be effective in the passing game. The veteran still remains one of the most valuable offensive pieces on the team and just needs more time to take a breather, especially after playing in 87 percent of the offense's snaps last season. The Kent State product recorded 100 receptions, 153 targets, 1,117 yards 11.2 yards per catch, and six touchdowns in 2019 with Tom Brady at the helm. Now with Cam Newton running the show, Edelman will still see a good number of targets as the Pats just released Mohamed Sanu and don't have any proven receivers aside from him. Consider Edelman a solid WR3.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
