1 year agoHouston Texans offensive lineman Juice Scruggs (hamstring) was placed on Injured Reserve before the 2023 regular season kicked off. The second-round rookie out of Penn State was dealing with a significant hamstring issue. Ahead of the Week 12 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Scruggs has been designated to return from Injured Reserve. He returned to practice today, and the team will have 21 days to activate him from the IR list. Houston already has one of the better offensive line units in the NFL, so if Scruggs can contribute right away, he could provide a boost to the Texans' run game and pass protection.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
