Juan Soto Likely To Be Out For A Few More Days
6 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Juan Soto (forearm) will likely be out for at least a few more days before returning to the lineup according to Yankees' manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees' manager said it's killing Soto not to be out there but that he sees the bigger picture. Soto was having yet another MVP caliber season alongside fellow AL MVP winner and likely 2024 candidate Aaron Judge. Assuming there are no other setbacks, Soto and his 1.027 OPS will either return to the Yankees lineup during the middle of their series against the Kansas City Royals or, if they elect to give him more time to rest, he could return on Friday in Boston against the Red Sox. Fantasy managers looking for a short term fill should look at Trent Grisham, who started in right field Friday night in Soto's place and is in the Yankees' starting lineup again on Saturday.
