Juan Soto Hitless Over His Last Two Games
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto was stifled by San Francisco Giants pitching in the last two games of this past weekend's series. He went 0-for-8 over the two-game stint, striking out twice. He did, however, manage two hits, including a double, in the series opener on Friday. Soto is slashing .242/.405/.435 over 18 games this year with three home runs, three RBI and 11 runs scored. The RBI total is the most concerning surface stat for now as the superstar just hasn't had enough baserunners to drive in this year. Meanwhile, his plate discipline has remained elite so far this year with a 20.3% walk rate and 13.9% strikeout rate.
