JT Riddle Playing In Minor League Games
7 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop JT Riddle (shoulder) played three innings in the field in a minor league game on Saturday for the first time since having shoulder surgery last August. He handled some routine ground balls and also started a double play while singling and doubling at the plate. Riddle could be ready for Opening Day on March 29 if he doesn't have any setbacks. He could wind up being the starting shortstop again for much of the season, but Riddle offers very little to fantasy owners in the way of power or speed, so he's strictly a player to target for depth in NL-only leagues.
