Jrue Holiday Sidelined On Friday
1 year agoBoston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (ankle) won't play in Friday's matinee against Orlando. Holiday had been listed as probable as of Thursday night because of a sprained right ankle. However, he apparently suffered a setback, going from doubtful to out since then. The 33-year-old hasn't played the best in his first season with the Celtics, averaging 12.3 points, a significant decline from the 2022-23 campaign. But Holiday's absence should give guys like Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, and Al Horford some extra minutes, allowing them to be viable streaming options in deeper setups.
