Jrue Holiday Posts 23 Points, Nine Assists In Thursday's Win
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday had a nice all-around performance against the Suns on Thursday, racking up 23 points, nine assists, four rebounds, three steals and one block in a 124-121 win. His struggles from deep continued with a 1-for-4 success rate, but as a great finisher at the rim Holiday produced solid 10-for-19 shooting numbers overall. The Pels have now won four of their last five games with Holiday averaging 23.4 points during the run. He'll look to keep the momentum going on Saturday against the Jazz, who are an elite defensive team, but they have been average at best against opposing point guards this season. Lonzo Ball, who returned to action on Thursday with eight points and five assists in 19 minutes, could enjoy the matchup as well.
