Jrue Holiday Hot From Downtown Against Hawks
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday had a very productive night from downtown against the Hawks on Monday, going 3-for-4 from behind the arc. He ended up recording 13 points in 19 minutes on 5-for-9 overall shooting. Two turnovers in so few minutes was a bit too much, but at least he also registered four assists. Holiday averaged a career-high 19 points per game last season after he had less playmaking duties with Rajon Rondo in town. The Pelicans signed Elfrid Payton this offseason, so Holiday can once again focus more on scoring. He's the clear second option behind Anthony Davis.
