Josiah Gray Strikes Out Seven In Major League Debut
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers Josiah Gray made his major league debut on Tuesday, striking out seven in four frames pitched. Gray entered the game in the third inning, giving up three home runs in his first Dodgers outing. While ailing from a shoulder injury, the 23-year-old pitched in just over 15 innings for Triple-A Dodgers affiliate Oklahoma. As a top prospect for Los Angeles, he has the potential of striking out a lot of batters with a fastball that clocks in the mid-90s. With two months left in the season, it is unknown how much of a workload the rookie will receive, but the future looks bright for the young hurler.
