Joshua Roy Out Indefinitely
8 months agoMontreal Canadiens forward Joshua Roy will be sidelined indefinitely due to an undisclosed injury. The 20-year-old was injured during Tuesday's overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers after skating 12:21 in the contest. The rookie has appeared in 23 games for the Habs this season, tallying four goals and nine points on 34 shots while averaging 12:08 of ice time per game. Roy has also had a nice season with the AHL's Laval Rocket, posting 13 goals and 32 points across 40 games in his first professional season. He tallied 46 goals and 99 points in 55 games with the QMJHL's Sherbrooke Phoenix last season. The Canadiens sit seventh in the Atlantic Division with a 25-31-12 record on the campaign.
