Joshua Dobbs A QB1 Option In Week 12
12 months agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs will look to bounce back in Week 12 against the Bears on Monday night after his two-turnover effort last week against the Broncos. He faces a Bears defense that has allowed the fourth-most passing yards (2,705) and 22 passing touchdowns this season. Dobbs has entered the weekly QB1 discussion due to his rushing upside, as he has found the end zone on the ground in five consecutive games going back to his time as an Arizona Cardinal. The 28-year-old has a formidable supporting cast and a quarterback-friendly system in Minnesota, so fantasy managers can feel comfortable with him in their lineups moving forward. His outlook could get even better if All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) returns to action on Monday night, but it does not sound likely right before the team's BYE week. Still, Dobbs can be treated as a back-end QB1 option regardless of the status of Jefferson.
