2 years agoBoston Red Sox right-hander Josh Winckowski has cleared the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. He will be the team's starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. The 24-year-old has been on the COVID-19 injured list for about two weeks. He's seen his first exposure to the majors this year and the results have been mixed. Over seven starts, he's gone 3-4 with a 4.38 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP.
