Josh Rosen Doesn't Stand Out On Friday
5 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen didn't do much to separate himself from Ryan Fitzpatrick in the preseason loss to the Bills on Friday night. In six offensive series, Rosen included two three-and-outs, a turnover on downs and two scoring drives that ended in field goals. He finished 10-for-18 for 102 yards. Head coach Brian Flores said he "played well, made some good decisions out there." Rosen never got into a rhythm because of bad pass protection, dropped passes and bad throws. He didn't look great, but he's been better than Fitzpatrick in two preseason games now. Miami could name their starting QB as soon as next week, and it's expected to be Rosen. However, he's nothing more than a weak QB2 if he gets the starting nod.
