Josh Reddick Signs Minors Deal With Diamondbacks
4 years agoFree-agent outfielder Josh Reddick has signed a minor league deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday and will report to the team's alternate site, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. Reddick spent last year with the Houston Astros, where he slashed .245/.316/.378 with four home runs and 23 RBI in 56 games. His .378 slugging percentage was his lowest mark since 2010 with Boston, and his .358 xSLG suggests he was actually over-performing at the plate. He might have some value in deep on-base percentage formats if he gets called up, as he posted a 9.5 percent walk rate in 2020. Outside of that, though, most fantasy managers can leave Reddick on the waiver wire.
