Josh Palacios To Make MLB Debut Friday Night
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Josh Palacios has been called up from Triple-A and is slated to make his MLB debut on Friday night against Andrew Heaney and the Los Angeles Angels. He is hitting ninth and playing right field in the game. Palacios was called up after Teoscar Hernandez was placed on the injured list due to being exposed to a case of COVID-19. The 25-year-old Palacios is a strong base stealing threat who has a little pop as well. At Double-A in 2019, he slashed .266/.371/.416 with seven home runs, 38 RBI, 43 runs and 15 stolen bases over 82 games. He could be an intriguing fantasy player at some point, but his stay in the Majors this time around might not be long.
