Josh Okogie Sees His Good Run End
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Josh Okogie couldn't extend his run of games with double-digit points to four on Sunday, ending a 111-81 loss to Portland with only six points on 2-for-8 shooting. It's only the second time in the last seven games the rookie guard from Georgia Tech has failed to get 10-plus points, so we can take it simply as a small blip. He's been a pleasant surprise at the start of the season, averaging close to 30 minutes per game, scoring 10 points with five rebounds and 1.4 steals. It won't be easy to bounce back on Monday against the defensively strong Clippers, but look for him to do a lot better, as he's yet to post two consecutive duds.
