Josh Naylor Traded To Indians
4 years agoOutfielder/first baseman Josh Naylor was traded by the San Diego Padres to the Cleveland Indians on Monday as part of the nine-player deal that sent starting pitcher Mike Clevinger to San Diego. Naylor just hit his first home run of the season on Sunday in the Padres' 13-2 win over the Rockies. With the move to Cleveland, Naylor should see more regular playing time having escaped from a crowded outfield situation in San Diego. Over a full season, Naylor has the potential to hit over 20 HR, having showcased his abilities in 2019 by hitting eight home runs in 253 at-bats for San Diego. Naylor is worth a look in deeper mixed league formats given the possibility he will see at-bats more regularly in Cleveland.
