Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (lower body) is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's matchup against the Maple Leafs. The 28-year-old was limited to only 7:17 of action against Toronto on Wednesday, and he would be out for the first time this season if Morrissey isn't in the lineup on Saturday. However, he was able to practice on Friday, and it's considered likely that Morrissey will play. Morrissey is tied for 12th in scoring among defensemen, registering 33 points (seven goals, 26 assists) in 46 appearances. Forward Gabriel Vilardi (lower body) is also a game-time call and could be back from a two-game absence on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (illness) will be back in action on Monday against the San Jose Sharks. After falling sick, Morrissey missed Thursday's 4 Nations Face-Off final and was also unavailable as Winnipeg continued its season on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues. However, Morrissey has been cleared for action on Monday, replacing Ville Heinola in the lineup. Morrissey is tied sixth among all blue-liners in scoring, boasting 46 points (seven goals, 36 assists) through 56 appearances. However, the 29-year-old has gone scoreless in back-to-back games with the Jets and didn't register any points in three 4 Nations Face-Off outings with Team Canada.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (illness) will miss Thursday's 4 Nations Face-Off finale against Team USA. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Morrissey is battling an illness. The Canadians lost Shea Theodore (upper body) early in the tournament, and Morrissey's absence is another setback for the blue line. Thomas Harley of the Dallas Stars will join the lineup as Morrissey's replacement, marking his second appearance in the 4 Nations Face-Off. Harley also played in Saturday's matchup against the U.S. He went scoreless in 18:17 of play, finishing with two shots on goal, three blocked shots, one hit, and a minus-one rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey tallied two assists during their overtime victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday evening. In the second frame, Morrissey would tally the secondary assist on Morgan Barron's fifth goal of the season. Later in the period, Morrissey would dish out the primary assist on Gabe Vilardi's 20th goal of the campaign. He also added four shots on goal. Over his previous ten games, Morrissey has tallied six helpers with two goals and averaged 2.3 shots on goal per game. The 29-year-old has been an integral part of the Winnipeg offense, as he has tallied 42 points (five goals, 37 helpers) across 49 games. Given his offensive contributions, he remains a strong play in DFS and a must-start player in all standard leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

According to Mike McIntyre of Winnipeg News, Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey (lower body) is day-to-day with a lower body injury. The 29-year-old left Tuesday's contest against the Nashville Predators in the second frame with this injury. Before exiting, Morrissey scored a goal and blocked a shot. McIntyre noted that the defender is currently viewed as day-to-day. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to Friday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings. Morrissey is currently riding a three-game point streak and has tallied 16 points (three goals, 13 helpers) over his previous 18 contests. Morrissey should be viewed as a must-start defenseman when healthy.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
