Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson suffered an upper-body injury in Friday's 5-3 loss at Dallas. He left the contest in the second period after crashing into the boards. Manson's night was over following only 10 shifts, during which he logged 7:13 of action. He's now in danger of missing his first game of the campaign, with Colorado returning to the ice Saturday night against Edmonton. Manson has recorded six points (one goal, five assists) in 24 appearances with 27 shots, 34 blocks, and a team-high 51 hits. The Colorado defense also lost Oliver Kylington (undisclosed) this week, so John Ludvig might get a chance to play in only his sixth game of the season on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
