Josh Jung Won't Return Until After All-Star Break
Josh Jung (wrist) until next week to rest his surgically repaired wrist. If all goes well, Jung could start a minor-league rehab assignment next week, but he won't return until after the All-Star break. This really isn't a big surprise after the 26-year-old right-handed power hitter had his swinging session pushed back over the weekend due to soreness in his right wrist. He has not swung a bat since June 20, but the good news is that he's not dealing with any structural damage. Jung played in just four games this year before injuring his wrist on a hit-by-pitch but he should be rostered in all fantasy formats in an injured-list spot until he returns. Josh Smith will continue to benefit from regular playing time at the hot corner in Texas while Jung is sidelined.
