Josh Jung Beginning Rehab Assignment Friday
4 months agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (wrist) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Friday. The 26-year-old was expected to start his rehab work this weekend but he appears to be slightly ahead of schedule. Jung has missed most of the season after he underwent surgery on his fractured wrist in April. The expectation is that he'll need a handful of games before he's ready to rejoin the Rangers lineup. He could be back in Texas at some point next week, assuming everything goes well. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for more updates and keep him stashed everywhere.
