Josh Johnson To Start In Week 17; Colt McCoy Not Ready
6 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden made it clear on Monday that quarterback Josh Johnson will finish the season as the starter in Week 17 against the Eagles. Colt McCoy broke his leg in early December and was hoping to return before the end of the season, but he is not ready. Johnson has thrown for under 200 yards in both of his starts and has two touchdowns and two interceptions. With a very limited supporting cast around him, Johnson will remain a low-end QB2, even in a matchup against a very shaky Eagles secondary.
