Josh James Exits Early Thursday, Helped From Field
4 years agoHouston Astros right-handed pitcher Josh James appeared to sustain a left leg injury during Thursday’s contest against the Rockies, which forced him to need help leaving the field. After allowing another run out of relief, James’ ERA has skyrocketed up to 10.97 across 10 ⅔ innings this year. After the team flirted with the idea of utilizing him in the starting rotation, he has been moved back into relief where he has unveiled a fastball that averages 95.7 MPH. Combining his injury, role, and lack of consistent success thus far in 2020, James can be left on the waiver wire in all season-long formats.
