Josh Jacobs Stymied By Jets Defense
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs failed to do much in the team's 34-3 blowout loss to the Jets in Week 12. He tied a season-low with 10 carries as he ran for 34 yards against a New York team that is excellent at stopping the run. The rookie added one catch for a measly two yards in the quietest game of his young career. Game script got away from the team early and with the game out of reach late in the third quarter, Jacobs didn't see the field with the team down by 30 points. The Raiders offense relies heavily on the run game, so owners shouldn't worry about the down outing as he remains a high-volume back. Jacobs will be an easy RB2 in Week 13 with a juicy matchup versus the Chiefs susceptible run defense.
