Josh Jacobs Stays Limited On Thursday
1 month agoGreen Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf, quadriceps) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Jacobs was also listed with a quad injury last week but played through it on his way to 18 carries for 76 yards and his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the win over the division-rival Chicago Bears. He also caught four of five targets for a season-best 58 yards. Jacobs' status is worth watching leading up to Sunday's contest against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, and if he's active, he should be considered a low-end RB1 that should be in most starting fantasy lineups. The 49ers defense hasn't been quite as strong in 2024 as in years past and they've allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points per game to RBs in the last three weeks. The 26-year-old has seen a strong 19.9 touches per game in his first year in Green Bay.
