Josh Jacobs Puts Up Strong Performance In Loss
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs had his best game of the season, rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Jacobs' rushing yardage was his second-most of the year, and he was also heavily involved in the passing game. With Jimmy Garoppolo out with a concussion, the Raiders started rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell. O'Connell targeted Jacobs 11 times for eight receptions and 81 yards. Seeing Jacobs and the Raiders finally get the run game moving was encouraging. Despite his eight catches, Jacobs still has zero career receiving touchdowns. The Raiders running back has a Week 5 matchup with the Green Bay Packers, who just gave up 121 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to David Montgomery. Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Jacobs as a low-end RB1 in their lineups moving forward.
