4 weeks agoGreen Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is likely to get plenty of volume, but his upside may be capped a bit when Jacobs and Packers travel down to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 8. While the Jaguars' defense is susceptible through the air, they're a true pass funnel defense as they are 12th in defensive EPA allowed per rushing attempt. With Jacobs, he's relied a ton on volume rather than efficiency, as he's had just one top-12 finish amongst running backs this season. Jacobs enters Week 8 with just two touchdowns on the season and only one 100-yard game, so we're really relying on the touchdown here to make for a good week. While Jacobs has a very stable floor for fantasy managers, the ceiling hasn't been there this season, making him a volume-dependent RB2 option in Week 8 against the Jaguars with the hope that he scores.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBaller
