Josh Jacobs Looking To Break Out Against Bears
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 77 yards in the Week 6 win against the New England Patriots. Jacobs also caught two of five targets in Sunday's contest for 16 yards. With his 25 carries and five targets against the Patriots, Jacobs has been given 20 or more opportunities in five of six games. Jacobs has been a reliable starter but has yet to have a breakout game akin to his performances last season. That said, the Raiders running back has a guaranteed weekly workload, regardless of game script. Jacobs also has the added benefit of leading all running backs in receiving yards and trailing only Alvin Kamara in targets. The Raiders take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The Bears are among the league leaders in fantasy points allowed to running backs this season. With backup quarterback Brian Hoyer filling in for Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacobs should get the ball early and often in this contest. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Jacobs as an RB1 this week.
