Josh Jacobs Limited On Wednesday
Josh Jacobs (shoulder) was listed as limited for Wednesday's practice, but is in no danger of missing Sunday's game versus the Jets. It's nothing new for the rookie's designation as the team is merely managing his workload after a heavy usage so far this season. Jacobs will be a fringe RB1 versus a Jets team that ranks first in the league in rush yards per game (79.1), but they've still been beaten with 10 touchdowns on the ground. Owners shouldn't hesitate putting Jacobs into their lineups in Week 12 despite the unfriendly matchup.

Josh Jacobs Calling For True WR1 In Green Bay
Josh Jacobs told 97.3 The Game that he thinks his team should invest in a true standout WR1 moving forward. "We've got a really young group of receivers. All can be really, really, really special," said Jacobs. "But I think personally we need a guy...that we know is going to be a little bit more consistent." Green Bay enjoyed much success this season -- finishing 11-6 -- but could not gain any traction in the playoffs. Despite the Packers bolstering four wideouts aged 25 or younger that eclipsed 400 receiving yards in 2024, none of them reached the 1,000-yard mark. However, Green Bay did rank eighth in the league with 26.1 points per game and lost their best deep threat (WR Christian Watson) to a late-season ACL injury. We'll see if the Pack move to secure a new alpha with a few big-name free-agent wideouts available in 2025, such as Tee Higgins, Cooper Kupp, and Amari Cooper.

Josh Jacobs Notches 121 Total Yards, Keeps Touchdown Streak Intact In Loss
Josh Jacobs maintained his stellar production into the postseason despite the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles during the Wild-Card round. Jacobs was the main cog in the Packers' offensive attack as he carried the ball 18 times for 81 yards, including a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave the Packers their only touchdown of the afternoon. He also caught all three of his targets for 40 yards as a safety valve for quarterback Jordan Love. In his first season as a Packer, Jacobs was a massive success with over 1,300 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns on the season. Jacobs will be a highly-drafted running back in 2025 fantasy leagues in this Packers' system that feeds him the ball.

Usual Workhorse Role On Tap For Josh Jacobs Against Eagles
Josh Jacobs looks to keep his regular season momentum rolling into the playoffs as the Packers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in their Wild Card game on Sunday afternoon. Jacobs ended the regular season with a bang as he scored 12 rushing touchdowns in his last eight games with a per-game average of 18 carries and 98 total yards in that span. To say Jacobs has been consistent after the Packers' Week 10 bye is quite an understatement. As Jacobs goes, so does the Packers' offense and with Jordan Love (elbow) banged up following Week 18 but off the injury report, the Packers could choose to lean further on their rushing attack against the Eagles. Even with Philadelphia allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season, Jacobs is a very solid touches-based RB1 for playoff and DFS contests.

Josh Jacobs Scores For Eighth Consecutive Game In Week 18 Loss
Josh Jacobs maintained his massive touchdown streak despite the Packers' 24-22 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 18. Jacobs did not see the volume he normally does and did not record a touch following his nine-yard touchdown plunge in the second quarter. After that score, Jacobs ceded the way for Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks to rest up for the Packers' playoff push. With his touchdown in Week 18, that makes 12 total touchdowns in Jacobs' final eight games. With the Packers headed to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in the Wild Card round, Jacobs is a locked-in RB1 for playoff contests.
