Josh Jacobs Expected To Play Sunday
5 years agoOakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden expects rookie running back Josh Jacobs (shoulder) to play in Week 8 against the Texans. Jacobs will be listed as questionable on the final injury report, but he's expected to give it a go against Houston on the road. The rookie has been exceptional this year and has seen a healthy amount of carries in recent weeks, but he'll be more of a high-end RB2 this weekend if he plays at less than 100 percent. We could see both Jalen Richard and Deandre Washington chip in a bit more if Jacobs is limited on game day. There's certainly bust potential for Jacobs against a Houston run defense that is much better than their pass defense.
