Josh Jacobs Becoming More “Well-Rounded”
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is looking more like a professional at camp by the day. The first-round rookie experienced the gruel of a tough camp with the Alabama Crimson Tide, and said the NFL camp is “easier than I thought.” The Raiders drafted Jacobs in the first round hopeful that he could become an every-down back for them. He’s displayed the ability to run, and has also improved as a pass-catcher, where he may lose work with Jalen Richard still in the mix. Jacobs is working extremely hard on pass protection, the one area where he believes he still lacks to prove he can be on the field for any scenario. If it all comes together for Jacobs this year, he could be a value pick at his current ADP, but should return RB2 results even if he loses out a bit in the passing game.
