Josh Jackson Leads Pistons In Scoring Thursday Night
4 years agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Josh Jackson continued his recent productive run with a team-high 18 points in Thursday's loss to Indiana, shooting 6-for-10 from the field and 6-for-8 at the foul line. He added a team-high eight rebounds, four assists, and one steal. On the downside, Jackson didn't hit a single three-pointer in the game and had four turnovers. The 24-year-old has been getting decent minutes throughout the season, but he is only now started to make some serious noise. Jackson is averaging 18.4 points, 6.2 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks for the month on 49.2 percent shooting. He missed both of his three-point attempts on Thursday but has shot an impressive 42.9 percent from downtown in February. Jackson will look to impress against Boston next in a tough matchup, as the C's allow the seventh-fewest bench points per game.
