Josh Harrison Day-To-Day With Back Stiffness
3 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Josh Harrison (back) was removed late in Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners due to lower back stiffness. According to White Sox manager Tony La Russa, the injury seems to be a minor one. La Russa stated that Harrison will be getting the day off on Thursday and that he is being considered day-to-day for now. The 34-year-old Harrison is off to a slow start to his White Sox career. Through five games, he's gone just 3-for-18. He's played both second base and third base for the team this year. Danny Mendick took over for him on Wednesday and Mendick could be in line to earn his second start of the year on Thursday.
