Josh Hader Struggling With A 7.71 ERA In July
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader had been absolutely fantastic this year before the calendar turned to July. He entered this month with a minuscule season-long ERA of 0.55. However, thanks to a 7.71 ERA over 4.2 innings this month, Hader now has a season-long ERA of 1.45. Hader has allowed at least one earned run in three of his five appearances this month. He blew his first save of the year this month and he's been tagged with two losses in July as well. He's still been dominant with strikeouts this month, recording nine over his 4.2 innings. His 45.4% strikeout rate on the year ranks in the 99th percentile. Hader was due for a rough stretch at some point. Expect to see him come out of it soon and return to being one of the top relievers in fantasy the rest of the way.
