Josh Hader Sharp On Monday Against Cleveland
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Josh Hader looked sharp on Monday against the Indians. Hader pitched a scoreless inning, striking out a pair of batters while allowing just one hit. The 26-year-old had a rough start to the spring- he allowed two home runs in his first outing- though he has yet to allow a run since in four innings while fanning eight batters against just two walks. Hader had a down season in 2020, as his strikeout rate declined and his walk rate increased, ultimately resulting in the highest ERA of his career. His 3.02 expected ERA suggests he should have fared slightly better in that department- and he is just one year removed from a 37-save season. Fantasy managers should expect him to be a top-three closer in 2021, which would warrant his 58 ADP.
