Josh Hader Notches Save Number 16
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 7-4 win over Pittsburgh. Hader locked down his 16th save of the year with just 10 pitches while retiring the heart of Pittsburgh's lineup in order. The southpaw remains a dominant closer with a 0.70 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, and 43:8 K: BB across 25 2/3 innings. He's also collected three wins this year. The Brewers are one of the hottest teams in baseball and Hader should benefit with more save chances going forward.
