Josh Hader Converts His Ninth Save On Tuesday
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader was called upon to make the final out in Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. With two outs in the ninth inning and two men on, Hader came on to face second baseman Tucupita Marcano and he was able to get Marcano to strike out, locking down a 12-8 victory for the team. This was Hader's ninth save of the year in as many opportunities. He has yet to allow a single run over 8.1 innings this year and has only given up two hits and two walks while recording 12 strikeouts.
