Josh Hader Closes Out Tiebreaker
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Josh Hader came in Monday and dominated the Cubs in the tiebreaker game. Hader came in and breezed through the eighth inning and then went back out to face the top of the Chicago order in the bottom of the ninth inning. He took out the first two batters in relatively easy manner before a battle with Javier Baez ended with a base hit. Last up was Anthony Rizzo who in September had become the first left-handed batter in Hader's major league career to hit a homer. Hader would get Rizzo out to end the game in a 3-1 victory. Hader is one of the most dominant relievers in 2018.
