6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader gave up a two-run homer to Anthony Rizzo to lose the lead in the eighth inning on Monday against the Cubs. Hader is known for pitching one to two innings at a time, but this time the Brewers tried to get three out of him and it backfired. Hader's ERA has been climbing recently due to a few bad outings and the strikeout rate has started to fall as well. Still, in a league that rewards ratios, Hader is a viable relief option considering his upside, but it's worth monitoring his next outing or two to see if he should be started in the upcoming championship weeks.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
