4 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Josh Fuentes (wrist) was scratched from Sunday's lineup. Fuentes is reportedly dealing with left wrist soreness, though it's unclear exactly when the injury occurred. The 28-year-old had a solid day at the plate on Saturday, clubbing a two-run homer for his first long-ball of the 2021 season. Fuentes is a potential sleeper for added playing time this season with a vacancy at third base following Nolan Arenado's departure, though it just won't come on Sunday. Ryan McMahon will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth.--Tim Capurso
