Josh Donaldson Supplies Offense Saturday
4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson provided the offense for his team in a 7-3 loss to the Tigers on Saturday. Donaldson went 2-for-4 with three RBI, a walk, and a run scored. The veteran third baseman tied the game in the fifth inning with a two-run blast off of Jose Urena, which traveled 425 feet at an exit velocity of 113.1 MPH. Donaldson later delivered an RBI double in the top of the eighth inning. He's now batting .290 with a .882 OPS and three homers and ranks in the 90th-percentile or better in hard-hit rate, expected batting average, and expected slugging percentage.
