Josh Donaldson Remains Out Tuesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) remains out of the lineup on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox. Donaldson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, though he is still considered day-to-day since exiting Saturday's game. The veteran third baseman has posted a strong .838 OPS this season and owns some excellent batted ball metrics but has been plagued by lower-body injuries, particularly calf and hamstring ailments, this season. The Twins have yet to provide a further update on Donaldson, though they could opt to hold him out of their remaining five games through the All-Star break. Luis Arraez will get another start at third base. Batting .353 in July, Arraez presents some run-scoring upside at the top of the Twins' lineup.
