3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson hit a walk-off single in the team's 6-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Friday. It was a dramatic ending to Donaldson's first game as a Yankee. His walk-off hit came in the 11th inning of the game with the free runner on second base. He hit a hard ground ball up the middle, allowing the free runner, Isiah Kiner-Falefa in this instance, to score from second. Donaldson went 2-for-6 overall in his Yankees debut, hitting out of the leadoff spot. He's in position to score a lot of runs for what should be a productive offense this year and he should also have some strong power numbers as well.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
