Josh Donaldson Belts Fifth Homer
4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Monday's 16-4 loss to the White Sox. Donaldson crushed an 0-1 changeup from Dallas Keuchel into right-center field for his fifth long ball of the season. The blast traveled 413 feet at an exit velocity of 108.1 MPH. Donaldson ranks in the top-10 in both expected batting average and slugging percentage, as he continues to see the ball extremely well this year. He remains one of the better hitters in the game when healthy, though fantasy managers can be forgiven if they want to explore trading Donaldson while he's hot to avoid a potential injury down the road. For those who choose to hold, Donaldson is looking like a great draft value already, as well as one of the better fantasy third basemen for the rest of the season.
