Josh Donaldson Almost Ready For Rehab Assignment
1 year agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) is nearing a rehab assignment, according to manager Aaron Boone. The veteran infielder has been out since mid-July due to a right calf strain. Donaldson has been able to resume baseball activities without any issues right now. The hope is that the Yankees are able to get Donaldson back around mid-September for a possible postseason run. The 37-year-old has been horrendous with the bat this season, but at worst he could contribute off the bench. However, fantasy managers can continue to stay off from Donaldson.
